This ability does not help you get the achievement for the betterment of all your equipment, but it is useful to re-assign (or regain) power nodes of the weapons that do not use anymore. In addition, you can use this ability to replenish the health of Isaac in any desk. If you go back to the specifications of the IBC, any change in a health node Isaac restore health to the new maximum.
